ZALEWSKI, Edward Walter

It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of a truly remarkable man. Our Dad and Grampa, Edward Walter Zalewski, began his journey  to be reunited with his beloved Dolores. He is the son of Celestyna Kellar (late Ambrose), and Axenti Zalewski.  Most precious father and inspiration to Daniel (predeceased), Chris (Cynthia), Marty (Sonia), Andrea (Bob Soltys), Carolyn (Barry Baxter) and Michael (Lorraine).   Adored Grampa of Adam (Laura), Alex (Melody), Taylor (Rachel), Paul and Danielle Zalewski. Chosen Papa of Caroline, Romy, JoJo, and Avah.  Very special brother of Amelia Laplante.  Dear brother in-law of Darlene and Mike Boyer.  A very special thank you to Dr. Bruni and the exceptional team of doctors who cared for Dad.  To the nursing staff on 3B, especially Tiffany, our heartfelt thanks for being so kind and to Lisa, Dad loved all of your hugs and kisses.  To Dad's Angels, Kara and Dan, Patricia and Mark, Mary Ellen and David, Shirley (and Dad's special girls), and Lena, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for always being there for Dad.  A private funeral service was held at Arthur Funeral Home – Barton & Kiteley Chapel on Tuesday November 28, 2017 at 11 am. Rev. Mr. Len Monico officiated.  Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.  Memorial donations may be made to the Algoma Residential Community Hospice Pediatric Suite.  “The  greatest gift a father can give is the strength in the love for his children”.
