Peacefully passed away at Northumberland Hills Hospital, Cobourg on Monday, December 9, 2019. Wayne Wysynski of Port Hope and formerly of Sault Ste. Marie at 75 years of age. Dear father of Jody (Ken) Mott and Chris Wysynski (Kristine). Loving grandfather of Abby, Evan and Darcy. Dear son of the late John and late Mary Wysynski. Dear brother of Lilyanne, late Rosemarie (late George) Bradshaw, late Ronald (Jennie), Paul (Renée) and Lori (late Dave) Grant. Wayne will be fondly remembered by his nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Predeceased by his former wife Jane.
Special thanks to the caring staff of Peterborough Regional Health Centre and Northumberland Hills Hospital, PSWs and nursing staff of St. Elizabeth Health Care, Dr. Durante, Dr. Mule, and especially his neighbour and friend Bryon for their compassionate care of Wayne.
At Wayne’s request, cremation has taken place and a celebration of his life will be held in Sault Ste. Marie at a later date. In Wayne’s memory, donations may be made to Ed’s House, Northumberland Hospice Care Centre in Cobourg or to the charity of your choice.
