It is with sincere thankfulness for a life full of love for family, friends, community, and Church that the Wozny family announces the passing of their Mom and Bopchie, Stella, on Tuesday, June 21, 2022 at the Sault Area Hospital. Everlasting friend and wife of the late Stan. Cherished mother of Christine Millward (Ernie), Suzanne Wozny Cormier (late David) and the late Joseph Wozny (Cheryl). Bopchie of Ernie (Sonia), Matthew (Denise), Jessica (Matthew), Jason (Stephanie), Megan and Alex (Cheetah). Beloved great Bopchie of Nathan, Emma, Jack, Paul, Carter, Hanna and David. Daughter of the late Anelia and Joseph Zurawinski. She will be missed by her brother John Zurawinski (Patty) and is predeceased by her sisters Sophie Gruszecki (late John) and Amelia Soltys (late Raymond). Special friend to her nephew, Bill Wozny and Janice Poulin.
Friends and family are invited to visit at Holy Family Parish on Tuesday, June 28, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. with Father Boguslaw Jaroszek officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Algoma Residential Community Hospice (ARCH) or St. Vincent Place would be appreciated by the family.
Stella is now reunited with her husband Stan, her son Joseph and her sisters making perogies, cabbage rolls and Easter bread at the table of God. Walk with the angels Mom!
