April 2, 1936- May 17, 2020.  Peacefully at Sault Area Hospital on Sunday, May 17, 2020 at the age of 84.

Beloved husband and best friend of Nancy (nee Kneafsey) for nearly 63 years.  Loving father of Tim (Tammy), late Terry, Evan, and Connie (Juv).  Grandpa Tom to Terry (Sara), Johnny (Nicole), Christin, Kaley, Brandon and Liam.  Great grandpa to  Adelina and Jacob.  Son of the late George and Elsie Worthing.  Predeceased by his sister Lillian Gay Discher (Laurie) and sister-in-law Patricia Schmahl (Del).  Also survived by several nieces and nephews and many friends.

Tom would often pull out one of his favorite harmonicas and cheer up those around him with some old favorite tunes.  He was a Milk man, Raleigh Sales man, Funeral Grounds Custodian, Long time member of the Trapping Association who trapped beaver and lynx and prepared them for the Hudson Bay Fur Company.  Above all his greenhouses were second to none growing the best tomatoes in the land.  The flowers he sold were meticulously grown which was evident  in the way they flourished.  We couldn't count how many car loads we took home to our own gardens.  In his spare time he knitted hats which he donated to the less fortunate.

A Country music fan that went to the grand ol' Opry, a Blue Jay's fan, enjoyed vacations in Florida and despite his courageous battle he still enjoyed bowling and a good game of euchre with a glass of wine. He enjoyed the outdoors so much he surrounded himself with it building a few houses in Little Rapids and customizing to suit the family needs.

Special thanks to the extraordinary doctors and nurses that did their best to make our Dad and us comfortable through these trying times.
