WOODS, Lois (Towell)

Passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side at the age of 84 on August 21, 2016 at the F.J. Davey Home. Beloved wife of The Late Morley Woods. Cherished mother of Deleana Senecal (Tom), Tim (Joan), Anne Woods, Kelly (Joanne), and David (Mildy). Predeceased by son Tedd. Loving and special grandmother of 10. Loved Nana of 14 great grandchildren with another on the way. Best friend and partner of The Late Jim Smigelski. Daughter of The Late Harriet Kokanie (Towell) and George Towell. Loved sister of George Towell (Teresa), Shirley Orr (Gordon), and predeceased by brother Duncan and sister, Diane. Lois will be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was a favorite aunt and grandma Woods to many. Special thanks to Pathways Retirement Home for taking care of mom. A very special thank you to the wonderful caregivers on Driftwood Beach, 1st floor F.J. Davey Home. Your kindness and compassion will never be forgotten. A private burial at Pine Grove Cemetery will follow cremation. A celebration of Lois’ life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 182 in Thessalon, on Friday, August 26, 2016 at 12pm.
