Pat passed away peacefully at PeopleCare Tavistock, ON at the age of 89. She is reunited with her beloved husband Jim (Charles James) and her dear son Brian Alfred. Also predeceased by her loving parents David and Maude (McMullin) Bernie, sister Mary Aldridge (Ted).
She was an amazing mother to David Wishman (Louise) and Kathy Smith (Craig). Adored Nanni to Jennifer Wishman (Gage), Mason, Chayse and Jackson Smith.
Daughter-in-law to the late Charles and Margaret, sister-in-law of the late Kenneth Wishman (late Bertha), late Clayton Wishman (Verna) and the late Kathleen Van Norman (late Harvey)
Aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Pat was deeply devoted to her family; she always had time to sit and listen or visit and laugh. These are the memories that will give the family comfort in her absence. Pat’s other passions were her many canine companions, gardening, feeding the birds and she was an avid sports fan.
In her final days, she told her family that she had “lived a full life and loved them all deeply”.
Mom you will be missed always and remembered forever.
At Pat’s request, cremation has taken place. She will be laid to rest at Greenwood Cemetery, Sault Ste. Marie alongside her husband and son.
A celebration of life will take place at the Canadian Bushplane Heritage Centre (50 Pim Street) Sault Ste. Marie on Sunday August 28th from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Sault Ste. Marie Humane Society or the Canadian Bushplane Heritage Centre would be appreciated as an expression of condolences.
