WILSON, Laura Joyce "Joy" - Peacefully, with her family by her side, Angels escorted her into the presence of the Lord on Thursday, July 11, 2019. Preceded in death by her parents George and Donalda (Babe) Taylor and her husbands Basil Wilson and Joseph Wilson. Beloved sister of Don Taylor (Eilleen) of Nova Scotia and Peggy Alhadef (late Bill) of California. She leaves behind her broken hearted children, Cheryl and Bob Moss, Monica Edgar (late Ken), Kerry and Ken Dutchak and Kevin and Sue Wilson of London, Ontario. Dearly loved "Grandma Joy" of Carlie Bossio (John), Jaime Moss (Stacy), Jason Edgar (Tabitha), Jeremy Edgar (Sarah), Trevor Edgar (Taylor), Spencer Edgar, Michelle Edgar, Lauren Hillman (Alex), Cameron Dutchak (Dana), Meagan Brodie (Ian), Amanda Wilson, Brandon Wilson, and the late Mary Moss and Kristin Edgar. Great Grandma of Nico Bossio, Chara Edgar, Christopher Edgar, Bella Edgar, James Edgar, Olivia Edgar, Ella Chalifoux and the late Ivy Edgar and Joy Edgar. Aunt and Great Aunt of many. Joy was a talented knitter and loved to create children's character sweaters and mittens, the proceeds of which were all donated to charity. She delighted in making you smile with her joke of the day and was an avid reader and enjoyed crossword puzzles and time spent with the "Ladies at the end of the hall." She will be missed by her dear friends and staff at Pathways where she has made her home for many years. Family and friends are invited to visit at the Arthur Funeral Home - Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington St. E. 705-759-2522) on Sunday, July 14, 2019 from 6 pm until 8 pm. Funeral Mass to be celebrated at St. Jerome's Catholic Church on Monday, July 15, 2019 at 11 am. Rev. Pat Woods officiating. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Thank you to the doctors and staff who helped care for her on 2A at the Sault Area Hospital.
