Born in Brampton, Ontario, slipped away peacefully in the early morning of Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at the age of 75. Doreen is the first child to the late George and Mavis Wilkinson and a much loved older sister to Shirley Probst, Charlie Wilkinson and Charlene Rhodes. She will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews, her closest, most precious friend Sister Jeanne Fortin and all her special support workers who added great joy to her life.
Doreen loved life and it showed every day through her humour, her happiness and her infectious bright personality. She was a genuine lady who always wanted to look nice and wear the finest jewelry and of course have matching nail polish. Even though a lady through and through she never failed to be a jokester and laugh till her hearts content. The more you pretended to be upset the more she laughed. There is no distance thoughts can't travel and even though we are miles apart Doreen will never be more than a thought away. She will be greatly missed but remain forever in our hearts.
