The family of Claire, takes great peace knowing she is now reunited with her beloved husband and cherished daughter. Claire passed peacefully on Monday, October 14, 2019 at the age of 97. Beloved wife of the late Morley for 43 years. Cherished mother of the late Diane (late Bernie), Gayle Dewar (Peter), Richard “Rick” (Sharon) and Rob (Paula). Proud Grandmother of Nancy Conway (Jerry), Tami Nicholas (Norma Haysey), Kim White (Peter), Teena Coventry (Donnie), Mark Dewar (Lori), Derek Dewar (Kim), Brock Dewar (Sandra), Jerry Welton (Sandy), Julie Stiener (Reto), Michelle Welton (Jeff Board), Nicole Welton (Mike Allard), Rob Trembinski (Stefania) and Kristen Trembinski. Adored Great Nana of many. Sister of the late Jack Grandbois (Salome), late Johnny Grandbois (late Beatrice), late Francois Grandbois (late Beatrice) and the late Maurice Grandbois (late Alfreda). Claire will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Claire was truly the heart of our home and showed us all how to raise our families, for that we will be forever grateful. Friends and family are invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Rd, 705-945-7758) on Friday from 11:00 a.m. until time of Memorial Service in the Chapel at 1:00 p.m. with Mrs. Helen Smith officiating.
