On Monday, November 21st, 2022, Wilfred Leonard Webb passed away peacefully with his wife by his side at the Sault Area Hospital at the age of 61. Loving husband to Rochelle Webb. Cherished father to Brittany King (James), Shannon and Katheryn (Randie). Lovingly remembered by his Grandchildren Keedan, Anthony, Ethan, Lily and Nathaniel. Son to the late George Webb and Delia Tanner (Roy). Brother to George Webb (Helen), Debbie Delaney (Marty), Rick Webb (Tammy) and Carrol Tanner (Perry). Wilfred will be missed by his nieces and nephews.

Wilfred loved to cook and enjoyed good food; he was well known for his roasted red pepper soup. Wilfred had a passion for music and learned to play guitar at the age of 16 and became a very talented guitar player, he could listen to a song a couple times and then play it from memory. In his early years with his best friend, they won the gong show at the airways playing duelling banjos, several times. His strongest passion was for his family, they meant the world to him. He faced all his trials with a brave face and was always positive and optimistic.

We would like to extend a sincere thank you to the doctors and nurses at London Victoria Hospital, and to the doctors and nurses at the Sault Area Hospital for all their compassion and care towards Wilfred over the three years and in his final days. We would like to also extend a special thank you to Dr. Wilson at the SAH for all she did for Wilfred.

As per Wilfred’s wishes cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 3rd, 2022, at 2pm at the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (126 Caledon Ave) with Harri Heimonen officiating. A reception in the church hall will follow.

Memorial donations can be made to a charity of your choice.
