Passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Thursday, March 22, 2018. Nothing made her more proud than her 3 children Clint (Trish), Kelly (Harvey) & Greg (Charles-Anne). Her grandchildren Deryl (Stacey), Sarah (Kyle), John, Katie, Tashina (Nick), Stacy (Eric), Derek, Ashlyn, Jordan (Brittany), Jenna-Rae (Cole) - will always cherish the memories of their adventures in the big red van. Her smile would be the brightest when her great grand-children came to visit (7). Left to mourn is her brother Brent (Anne). Reunited with her mom and dad Grace and Sgt. R.C.A.F. Robert (WWII) and siblings Joan, Reg and Robert. While Pulmonary Fibrosis was destined to take her, she battled hard while always smiling and thinking of others. She also made wonderful friends and memories through the years with her time at the lung support group, YMCA, Kennel Club, Kinettes and Central United Church. Never afraid to give a helping hand by opening up her home or by simply sitting and listening to someone who needed an ear. Our mom, the closest thing to an angel, will be missed & cherished in many people’s memories. Family and friends are invited to Arthur Funeral Home – Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington St. E. – 705-759-2522) on Tuesday March 27, 2018 from 12:30 – 2:30 pm. Funeral Service to follow in the chapel at 3 pm. Memorial contributions may be made to The Lung Association or ARCH residence hospice.
