Passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on January 2nd, 2013 at the age of 66. Cherished mother of Mandy Walker-Cliffe, Marnie Bunting (Sandy) and Matthew Walker (Jennifer). Proud "Ba-ba" of Kaleigh Cliffe and Caleb Walker. Predeceased by her mother and father, Leonora and Frederick Van Hoek. Loving sister of Norman Van Hoek (Pauline). Dear friend of Douglas Walker. Barbara will be forever remembered and loved by her nieces, nephews and extended family. At Barbara's request, there will be no visitation. A  private memorial service will be held in her honour at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation & Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758).
