On March 28, 2021, in her 100th year, our beloved mother, grandmother, mother-in-law, sister, aunt, sister-in-law and friend passed away peacefully in her own bed surrounded by her loved ones. Devoted wife of her late husband, Henry. Loving mother of Myra Viita and the late Wayne Viita (Nancy). An amazing role model for her two granddaughters, Tasha Viita (Mario) and Kristen Viita. Flo was born into a large family and is survived by her sisters Gil Robertson (late Ted), Theresa Maloney (late Barney) and Louise Alexander along with her sisters-in-law Eila Virene (late Thornley) and Irene Waller (late Bruce), Barb Gravelle and Kay Gravelle. We take comfort in knowing that she is in heaven with her husband and son along with her brothers and sisters Faye Gravelle, Guy Gravelle (Gwen), Vincent Gravelle (Bert), Cap Gravelle, Rene Gravelle (Bernice), Gerry Gravelle (Miriam), Wilfred Gravelle. She has a special place in the hearts of her thirty-nine nieces and nephews especially her Godchildren Brian Gravelle and Danny Maloney.
Flo was one of the most giving, loving, caring person to ever grace this earth. The inspiring nature in which she lived her life is to be celebrated. We lost a courageous, kind soul and heaven gained the perfect angel.
A private service will be held for family on Thursday, April 1, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. The service will stream live through the Northwood Funeral Home Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/northwoodfuneralhome/.
