(November 21, 1956 – January 30, 2019) - It is with broken hearts we announce the passing of Rick, “Fred” at the Thessalon Hospital after a short illness at the age of 62. Cherished husband for 38 years to Alma of Thessalon. Loving dad to Freddy of Thessalon. Survived by siblings Karen, Kevin and Lynne. Predeceased by parents Dolly Hoffman and Wally Milligan as well as siblings Mary Ellen and William. Will be missed by his many nieces, nephews and friends. His fur baby Charlie will miss his scheduled snack times and all the petting.
Fred worked for many years in the saw mills in Thessalon and the Soo. For the last 15 years he has worked for Pioneer Construction.
The family wants to thank Charlie, Cathy and Nancy for their friendship and being by our side during difficult times.
Family and friends are invited to visit on Thursday, February 7, 2019 at the Thessalon Bible Chapel from 12pm until time of service at 1pm. If desired, donations can be made directly to The Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.
