In a peaceful manner and surrounded by his family, Billy passed away at the S.A.H. Plummer Site on Sunday, December 9, 2012 in his 77th year. Beloved husband of Lucienne (Piche). Dear father of Sue-Anne Johnson (Jim), Marie-Lynne Potvin (Gary), Chuck (Jackie), Tom (Marija), Robert (Monica) and Kim Palahnuk (Chris). Proud Grampa of Celina, Bryce, Michael, Emily, Jasmin, Kylie, Alexis, Kris, Jessica and Jordan. Great Grampa of Emma and Ryder. Eldest son of the late Ky Mum and Lee Gwin ‘Ng Tong. Brother of Cheuck Shan Tong, Ut Ming Tong-Ho, Kathy Tong-Tam, Tak Ming Tong-Ma, Howard Tong and their families. A very easy going person, best known for his phrase “It don’t matter to me”. A man of quiet strength and persistence made famous through his wonderful cooking; his way of celebrating and sharing life. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Thursday, December 13, 2012 from 1 -3 pm. At Billy’s request there will be no funeral service. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
