Passed away peacefully with family by his side on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at the age of 85. Fun loving father of Kirsten Young (Tom), Lori Desjardin (Tom), Erin Lawrence, Tylar Thorkilson (Laura) and special uncle to Mike. Proud grandpa of Tarina (Nick), Bronson (Angela), Spencer (Ashley), Shaina (Jay), Kendall (Silas), Kris (Amy), Lacey (David), Jocelyn (Ryan), Amanda, Christina, and Justin. Great grandpa “GGG” of Freya, Finley, Anna, Ashton, Anisten, Ruby, Heath, Deegan, Trent, Reilly, Phoenix and two on the way. Brother of Marge Winters (Jack), Chuck Thorkilson, and predeceased by Anne Gregory and Ruth Coulter. Predeceased by the two loves of his life Shirley Thorkilson and Clarice Skagen. Special friend Evelyne Boissineau. He will be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Friends are invited to visit at the Arthur Funeral Home – Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington St. E. – 705-759-2522) on Tuesday, February 27, 2018 from 11 am until 12:30 pm.
