Passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, April 13, 2021.

Loving and proud mother of the late Vicki MacAdam (Don), Daphne Darlow (Len), and Dana Thompson (Greg Wirth). Special grandma to Sheena Casola (Pete Perry), Jordan Casola (Kelsey) and their father Lewis Casola, Nathan & Darren Darlow, and Kayla & James Wirth. GG to Kiarah, Chayce, Laila, Luca, Peyton, Lincoln, and Landon. Gail will be missed by her special companion Donni and her church family Mary, Yolande, Karen & Earl, Diane & Edwin, Yvonne, Gordon & Melissa, Cathy & Mike, Gayle, and Susie & Noel.

Gail was a very involved woman in our community she was active in the church, the musical comedy guild, the crisis pregnancy centre, Habitat for Humanity and countless other endeavors. Gail's strong will and independence was a trait that her family always admired. She was a selfless and caring woman until her last day.  Gail had a love for animals of all kinds, and leaves behind her beautiful fur baby Gracie-girl, the cat. Gail was always a strongly opinionated woman, but her filter decreased even more so in her last years. Gail was only 5 feet tall, but had no issues commanding any room she walked into... always late, of course!

A special thank you to her nurse, Marcy and to Dr. Nikki Apostle who went above and beyond to ensure that her wishes were fulfilled and respected.

As per Gail's wishes, there will be no service at this time.  In lieu of flowers memorial donations to the Church of the Good Shepherd would be greatly appreciated by the family.  Arrangements entrusted to Arthur Funeral Home - Barton and Kiteley Chapel, (492 Wellington Street East 705-759-2522).  Please visit Arthur Funeral Home website obituaries to leave memories and condolences as a keepsake for the family.

- The Day she Kissed the Sky

First and foremost Gail did not pass due to Covid. She passed peacefully with family, Dana, Greggy, Sheena, Jordan, Kayla, James and Mary, loved ones close by, and Gracie the cat. Those were her wishes and we honored those wishes to the fullest. Thank you to her Karaoke family, you gave her a place where she could be herself. She loved singing so thankyou for sharing that space with her. She sang right to the end, her wit was sharp. She didn't lose a battle, she won the battle. She left peacefully, gracefully and with lots of love.
