It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of James Ellwood Thompson at the Plummer Hospital on Saturday, May 3, 2003 in his 79th year. Beloved husband of Eleanor (Sveinson) of 57 years. Dearly beloved Dad of Pat Thompson (late Bob Sherwin), Vivian Thompson (Randy Lepage), Valorie Setchell (Mike), John Thompson (Bev) and Doreen MacGarrie (Neil). Dearly beloved Grandpa of 13 Grandchildren and 23 Great Grandchildren. Beloved son of the late James M. and Elizabeth (Allard) Thompson. Beloved brother of Ron Thompson (Anne), the late Orvilla Eckford (Jim) and Melba Brooks (late Jim). Uncle to many nieces and nephews. A private family service will be held at the Arthur Funeral Home and Cremation Centre at a later date. Memorial contributions to the Cancer Clinic would be appreciated by the family.
