It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Helmut on Tuesday, January 31, 2023 at the Sault Area Hospital at the age of 56.
Cherished son of Erika and the late Helmut Tangl. Loving brother of Irene Watson, Caroline Weldishofer (Volker), Ingrid Tangl and Wanda Coccimiglio (John). Helmut will be remembered as a special uncle to Ramona (Matt), Stefan (Robyn), Aron (Tori), Jesse, Benjamin, Sonia, Cody (Maggie) and Daniel (Cassie). Great uncle to Ava, Noah, Annika and Emma.
Helmut enjoyed spending time at his farm with his family especially with his nieces, nephews and their babies. He will also be missed by his fur baby "Buddy". He was always willing to lend a helping hand along with a comforting smile.
The family would like to thank all the nurses and doctors at the Sault Area Hospital who provided exceptional and compassionate care to Helmut.
At Helmut's request there will not be a funeral service. Arrangements entrusted to the Arthur Funeral Home - Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington Street E. 705-759-2522). Memorial contributions (payable online or by cheque) to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Humane Society would be appreciated by the family.
