With heavy hearts we announce the passing of our much loved brother, Uncle, Great Uncle and beloved son, Edward. Cherished son of the late Kathleen and Louis Syrette. Much loved brother of Ethel Dallaire, Matthew Corbiere, Diane Jones (late Harry), Tim Syrette (Darlene), late Mickey Syrette (Jay), Charlotte Zack (Darren), Elaine McDonagh, late Paul Syrette, late Susie McCabe (Doug), Colleen McCabe (Orville), and late Marcel Syrette. Much respected uncle and great and great great uncle to numerous nieces and nephews. Godfather to Rosanne Dallaire, Kathy Jones Pine and the late Christopher McDonagh. Cherished friend to Francine and Ed Perkins, Greg Lucick and Lucy Cooyama as well as his family of friends in San Francisco. Fortunately Edward was able to return home to Batchewana First Nation territory in September. Ed enjoyed a beautiful fall season with family and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church.
Friends and family are invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Rd, 705-945-7758) on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 from 11:00 a.m.to 2:00 p.m. Memorial mass to follow at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church at 3:00 p.m. with Father Jean Pierre Mukuna officiating. Feast to follow at the church.
