Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 11, 2021, in her 95th year at the F.J. Davey Home.  (Evelyn Joyce Swinn, born to Frank and Mary Cullis and predeceased by an older sister Frances in infancy.)

Joyce was married for 50 years to her beloved husband, Harold (predeceased in 1999) and is survived by her six loving children, Kathryn MacIntosh (Jim) of Peterborough, Kenn Swinn (Kathy), Carole Swinn (late Jack Duench), Barb Rickard (late Mel), Michael Swinn (Alana) and Martha Swinn (John Guenther) of New Aiyansh, BC, also niece Judy McDowell of Stouffville.  Also survived by seven grandchildren, Jennifer, Hilary and Tracy MacIntosh, Sara Youngblut, Kendra Simpson, Kaitlynn Swinn, Madeline and Mitchell Swinn.  Great grandmother of seven wonderful grandchildren.

Joyce enjoyed working as school secretary at H.M. Robins Public School.  She was a 50 year volunteer of the Plummer Memorial Hospital Auxiliary and was a member of the Soo Lioness Club for many years.  The highlight was a trip to Australia and New Zealand with Dad, a Lion's member, for a worldwide convention.  Joyce also enjoyed a bi-weekly Bridge Club with a close knit group of friends for over 50 years.  She will be missed by special friends, Dorothy Butler of Aurora and Cora Cond.

Mom was close to cousin Jack Horricks (deceased 2007) of Ottawa.  The family would like to give special thanks to the staff at the F.J. Davey Home, particularly in the Cedar Grove wing for their kind and caring support during these difficult times.

As per Joyce's wishes there will be no funeral service.  Arrangements entrusted to Arthur Funeral Home - Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington St. East 705-759-2522).  Memorial contributions (payable by cheque or online to SAH Foundation or the F.J.
