Peacefully at the Ontario Finnish Rest Home surrounded by family on Saturday, December 15, 2012 at the age of 87. Beloved husband of the late Margaret (nee Saarela) for 62 years. Loving father of John (Carol), Sharon Norton (Ralph), the late Freda LoRegio, Guy (Heather), Kevin and Martha Stevenson (Ian). Cherished grandfather of Melissa Chojnowski (Daryl), Laura Swift, Ken Norton (Amity), Kathy Cameron (Trent), Jennifer Buckner (Alex), Angela Norton, Joe Norton, Aaron Norton, Thomas LoRegio (Ruth-Ann), Patty LoRegio, Natasha Swift, Dylan Swift, Jessie Wansbrough, Benjamin Stevenson and Katie Stevenson. Great grandfather of 17. Dear brother of late Eileen Hulko (late Bill), Jim Swift (late Eileen), late Shirley Piper (late Edsel), Leonard (Donna), June Weaver (late Wally), late Charles (Stella), Viola Boston (late Ken), late Lorne (late Lillian), Norman (late Pam) and Jackie (Shirley). Funeral service to be celebrated from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at 1 pm. Mr. Garnet MacJanet officiating.
