Strom, Anna crop

It is with heavy hearts that we, the daughters of Anna, announce her passing on Friday, January 20, 2017. Our mother was surrounded with love as she left us to join her beloved husband, the late Leonard Strom, and her parents, the late Salvatore and Virginia Filice. Left to cherish beautiful memories are her daughters and sons; Marci and Keith Hillstrom, Renee and Bryan Fuller, Jody and Rui Viveiros and Nicole and Nick Nicoletta. Nothing gave Grandma more joy than nightly phone calls and wonderful visits from her precious ones; Matthew Marrelli, Kristian and Aiden Nicoletta, Hannah, Jonah and Lucas Fuller. Beautiful great grandsons Gabriel and Kaleb Marrelli always brought a smile to her face. Also, sharing in our grief are mom’s siblings Carmela Salituri (late Attilio), Mario and Carol Filice, Anthony and Janice Filice, Frank Filice and Sarah Merritt. So very important to mom were her many nieces and nephews, their children and her sister- in-law and brother-in-law Joyce and Ed St. Amand. The devotion of such treasured friends as Donna Bryans and Lois Irwin brightened our mother’s life beyond measure. Mom so loved her Davey Home Family. Special thanks to her loving caregivers; Jessica Ross, Annie, Tara, Farrah, Meghan, Krista, Rachelle, Ashley, Kaitlyn, Erin, Carole, Jessica Daynard, Lise and Jody. Your kisses, hugs and tender care made her feel safe and loved always. To Kerri, Karen and Jeff, thank you for your unwavering devotion in providing peace, comfort and dignity in mom’s final hours. In spite of the burden of ALS, our mother showed us how to live graciously, love unconditionally, and die with dignity.  Friends and family are invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road, 705-945-7758) on Tuesday, January 24, 2017 from 5:00p.m. until 8:00 p.m. A private family service will be held. Inurnment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Should you wish, donations to World Vision or ARCH-Pediatric Suite, would be most appreciated. Our mother always believed, “Love Is All.” Love you more momma. www.northwoodfuneral.com
