Peacefully at the Thessalon Hospital on Thursday November 29, 2012.  Richard Stobie of Desbarats in his 85_^th year, beloved husband of Eunice Stobie (nee. Bell).  Loving father of Sylvia of Sault Ste. Marie, Brenda  Lewis (Len) of Echo Bay, Phyllis Stobie  (Charles Donovan) of Desbarats, Rick of Thunder Bay, David (Tina) of Gordon Lake and Faye McLeod (Grant) of Sault Ste. Marie.  Special Grandpa to Violet, Jason, Amanda, Jordan, Austin, Dylen ,Derrick, Samantha, Connor, Riley and the late Richard and great grandpa to Shea-Lynn, Gavin, Jaryd, Hunter, Breanna, Zachariah and Michael.  Dear brother of the late Amanda, Ambert, Jack, Lloyd, Jean, Catherine and Cora.  Dear brother-in-law of Laddie Bell, Ellwood Bell, Connie Summers, Pat Taylor, Karen Gallivan and the late Earl and Reggie Bell.  Also uncle to numerous nieces and nephews.  Friends may call at the Beggs Funeral Home, Thessalon on Sunday December 2, 2012 from 7 to 9pm.  Funeral service in the chapel on Monday December 3, 2012 at 10 o’clock.  Interment in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Gordon Lake.  Donations to the Thessalon Hospital gratefully accepted.  www.beggsfh.com
