Sheilah Stevens PIC

November 25, 1974 – October 22, 2020

It is with great sadness that our daughter, sister, aunty, cousin and best friend has gone on to the spirit world. Although she struggled with health and pain, Sheilah continued to be strong and live everyday with dignity and a smile on her face. The conditions she was dealt led the path she walked and she never faltered in its wake. She was an inspiration and a positive light for us all.

Sheilah understood her life was a gift and chose to live it to its fullest. She was brave in facing her journey… grateful and peaceful in knowing she would soon be reunited into the loving arms of her parents Gary and Marsha and sister Summer.

She will be forever loved by siblings Christopher Martin, Stephany Stevens (Joey) and Gary Stevens. Cherished Aunty of Bretton, Zoie, Jessaka and Hannah and great aunty of Madison, Sophia and Matteo. Treasured niece, cousin and “Bestie” of many who will miss her very much. She leaves her kitties, Violet, Jovi and Georgie who to her were her furbabies.

Sheilah was a gifted singer who loved music and playing the guitar. She enjoyed fishing and spending time in nature. She spent hours cruising around and listening to her favorite tunes. An adventurous spirit and a brave heart afforded her many opportunities to spread her wings and have wonderful experiences. Concerts were her number one joy and she was fortunate to have seen many of her favorite bands including her beloved “silver fox”, Jon Bon Jovi.

For Sheilah, family was everything. We will forever remember her quirky and quick wit, infectious smile and beautiful singing voice.

She was beautiful inside and out. We will miss you tremendously, Our Homie.

The family wishes to thank the many health care workers and doctors who supported Sheilah while at home and in the hospital.

If desired, the family appreciates donations in memory of Sheilah to the Heart and Stroke Foundation www.heartandstroke.ca

Private service will be held at a later date. Per Sheilah’s wishes a huge Beatles Bash will take place when restrictions are lifted.

Arrangements entrusted to Menard Funeral Home, Blind River.
