Raymond A. Stares passed away at the Plummer Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, November 19, 2002 at the age of 86. Loving husband of the late Mickey (Vera) Stares. Dear father of Carol McVea (Bill) of Thornhill, Ontario, Shirline Snyder (Bob) of Livingston Texas and Katheleen Bondar of Sault Ste. Marie. Grandfather of Bob Snyder, John and Julia Bondar. Brother of the late Frank, Gerald, Harry, Fred and Sid Stares, Edith LaBerge and Dora Nott. Friends and family of Mickey and Ray are invited to gather at St. Luke's Cathedral, Brock Street, on Monday, November 25 at 2:00 p.m. for their interment service followed by a reception in the church hall.
