Peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital on Friday April 9, 2021. Much loved mother of Leslie Conn, Lindsay Kraan (Doug) and David Stares. Avalonn was predeceased by her husband Robert (Bob) Stares. She was a devoted grandmother to Mitchell, Gabriel and Veronica and very dear Nana to Whitney with whom she shared a special bond.
Avalonn was an avid reader, a rabid Leaf fan and a lifelong animal lover. In remembrance of her generosity to her favourite charities, the family asks that donations be made to the Sault Ste Humane Society or the Samaritan’s Purse Canada in lieu of flowers (payable to or online to).
