Fred Stadnisky Sr. passed away peacefully at the Sudbury Memorial Hospital on Thursday, July 4, 2002 at the age of 80 years. Loving husband for 54 years to Assunta "Sandy". Beloved father of Fred (Lauren Hayes) and Darlene Tier (Raymond). Cherished Poppie of Matthew, Brittany, and Hope Stadnisky and Caleb and Sebastian Tier. Brother of Regina Behrens (Bill), Stella Verdoni (Bert), Annie Smith (Bill) and predeceased by Victoria Jones (late Fred), Tom (late Frances), Helen Breckenridge (late Jim), John (late Mae) and Stephania Maderick (late Lusak). Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Friends may cal at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Monday, July 8 from 6:00 to 9:00 a.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Jerome's Church on Tuesday, July 9 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Hamish Currie officiating. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Memorial contributions to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
