Born in Welland, Ontario on March 23, 1928. Husband of the late Bertilla ‘Bertha’. Stepfather of Loris Zago (Debbie) and Grandpa to Christana. Predeceased by his parents Domenic and Mary Sorrenti. Survived by his sister Nancy Bumbacco (Joe) and predeceased by his siblings Ann Scarfone (late Steve), Rosie Raso (late Mike), Carmel Colosimo (late Louie, late Pat), Louie 'Gigi' Sorrenti , Frankie Sorrenti (Jo-Anne) and Angie Degraw (Joe). Brother-in-law of the late Olga Barzan (late Albino) and the late Renata Cecchetto of Italy. He was a special uncle to many nieces and nephews. Joe was a kind and gentle man.

Following our uncle’s wishes, cremation has already taken place and a private graveside was held. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made to ARCH, or the War Amps would be appreciated by the family.
