Peacefully at his home, with his family by his side on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 in his 87th year. Beloved husband for 64 years to Doris Smith (nee Digby). Son of the late Thomas and Albina Smith. Loving Father of Marlie Smith (Marina), Sheri Gagne (Christian), Shene Smith (Jennifer), and Vonda Morrison (Dr. Kevin Morrison). Special puppy Feather. Proud Papa and Grandpa of Tom, Jaimie-Lynn, Brandon, Matthew, Rebecca, Bryce, Adam, Jacob, Amy, Jessica and Nathan. Great Grandpa of 12 and Great Great Grandpa of 1. Dear brother of Zella Hope (late Jack), and Carol Bennett. Brother-in-law of Allan Digby (Shirley) and predeceased by Dorothy Cooper and Bob Digby (Colleen). Special brother-in-law of Doreen Buijs. Uncle Marlie will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews.
