Arnold Smith passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at the Plummer Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, February 4, 2003 at the age of 72. Loving husband and best friend for 53 years of Evelyn. Dear father of Clifford (Rhonda), Dale (Debbie), Jane James (Lewis), Keith (Chris), Nancy Armstrong (Allan) and Brenda Jull (Brian). Cherished grandfather of Brent (Tammy), Stephen, Nicole (Jason), Matthew, Luke, Timothey (Jennifer), Bradley (Rene), Amy, Mary-Ellen, Samantha, Alicia and Nicholas and great grandfather of Hayley, Whitney, Kevin and Andrea. Special grandfather of Kathy, Daniel, Brandon and Kevin and special great grandfather of Matthew and Donnie. Son of the late William and Rachel (Acie) Smith. Brother of Lorne (Pat), Esther McSpadden (Bill), Merle Houston (Allan), Martha Bartlett (late Harold). Predeceased by Gaig MacKinnon (wife Helen), Mack MacKinnon, Jean Petersdorf (Bill), Elsie Inch (Clifford) and Clifford Smith. Son-in-law of the late Lewis and Ellen Cort. Brother-in-law of Frances Kettles, Annie Cort, Eva Blackstock (Grant), Shirley Deplonty (Stan) and Harold Cort. Beloved uncle of many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Friday, February 7 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the chapel on Saturday, February 8 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev.
