Passed away peacefully surrounded by family at the Sault Area Hospital on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at the age of 86.
Albert leaves to mourn his dear wife and best friend Mary Potvin of 56 years. Son Peter, daughter Michelle, son-in-law Hugh Devon and grandchildren Sarah, Ryan, and Carolyn Devon. Son of the late Pete Smeader and Gladys Vanzant. Brother of the late Harry and late Gail Sullivan (Mike). Cousin of Janice Armstrong (John) and Susan Korneluk (Peter). Albert's favourite place was Lonely Lake, where he spent much of his time since the 1930's. A private family service will be held in the spring. The family wishes to thank Doctors, Nurses and all staff at the Sault Area Hospital. Memorial contributions (made payable by cheque) to the Sault Area Hospital Cancer Care Unit would be appreciated by the family.
