Marion Sleeman passed away at the General Hospital on May 3, 2002, at the age of 82 years. Marion is leaving behind her husband of 55 years, W. Leonard Sleeman, her daughter Sharon McIlveen, and her two sons, Christopher and Robert, all of Markham, Ontario. Marion's friends and acquaintances are scattered from British Columbia to New Brunswick, and mainly throughout Northern Ontario from Sleeman, Kirkland Lake, Thunder Bay, Toronto, Mississauga and finally to Sault Ste. Marie. Many of her friends are in the southern United States. In view of the above there will be no memorial service in Sault Ste. Marie. Members of Marion's family wish to express their sincere appreciation for the kindness shown not just by the tender loving care of people, e.g. doctors, nurses, nurse assistants, but also and particularly the large number of people such as accountants, kitchen, dining room and maintenance staff at the F.J. Davey Home, Val Deale Nursing Home, the hospital and the home care people who made life a bit more
