Passed away peacefully at Algoma Residential Community Hospice (ARCH) on Tuesday, February 2, 2016. Beloved husband of late Margaret for 54 years. Much loved father of Ingrid Siltala-Mort (Neil) of Vancouver, B.C., Michael  (Monica) of Mississauga, ON, John (Lisa) of Milton, ON, and Andrew of Milton, ON. Cherished Grandfather of Kiersten, Eveonne and Alex Mort, and Lucas and Rachel Siltala. Son of the late Torsti and Irja Siltala.  Dear Brother in law of Robert Golec (Jean), late Dr. Judith Golec, late Michael Golec, and Nancy Golec. Special Uncle of Karen Golec and Steve Golec.  The family sincerely thanks Jan Cardinali who has been caregiver and special friend to James and Margaret over the last year.  A celebration of James’s life will be held at a later date.
