Peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital surrounded by her
family on Thursday, December 18, 2008 at the age of 82. Predeceased by her loving husband Lloyd. Devoted and caring mother of Debbi Greco (Abbie), David Shier (Donna)
of Sault Ste. Marie and Gayle Schauerte (Tim) of Victoria, B.C. Cherished grandmother of Jeff Greco (Sherri), Jennifer Greco of Sault Ste. Marie, Greg Shier (Dedra) of Windsor, Ryan Wilton, Michaela Peet (Matt) and Moses Schauerte of British Columbia. Special mother-in-law of Kathy Burke (Tom). Dear sister of the late Elvira
Rossiter (late John) of Bristol, England. Loving aunt to Richard and Jane Rossiter and family and Rowena and Piers White and family of England. Cousin of Oscar and
Lillian Ohlson of Australia. Special and cherished friend of Muriel and George Rodgers of England. Mary was a devoted member of the Eastern Star (Doric Chapter)
for more than 50 years. At one time she held the office of Marshall. She will be sadly missed by her Eastern Star friends. She was also a dedicated member of the
Central United Church for over 40 years. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Monday, December 22, 2008 from 6-9 pm. Funeral service will be
held in the chapel on Tuesday, December 23, 2008 at 1 pm. Rev. Laurie Milito officiating. Interment Greenwood Cemetery. Memorial contributions to the Sault Area
Hospital Foundation or a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated by the family. Members of the Eastern Star are requested to assemble at the Arthur Funeral Home &
Cremation Centre on Monday, December 22, 2008 at 5:30 pm for a memorial service for the late Mary Shier.
