Linda Elaine Shewfelt passed away peacefully at the Plummer Memorial Hospital Palliative Care on Thursday, March 27, 2003 in her 51st year. Beloved wife and best friend of Doug. Cherished mother of Jason (Rachel), Jamie and Jennifer. Grandmother of Danielle and Lindsay Ann Shewfelt. Daughter of Ann Maki (Ted Grunt) and daughter of Elmer Maki. Sister of Lynn Maki, Wendel Maki, Wendy Dumais (Ray), Pam Ayers (Roy), Tim Maki, Gary Maki (Marguerite) and Tammy Comegna (Art). Sister-in-law of Brenda Pettenuzzo (Reno), Connie Vallee (Don) and the late Patricia Gail. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Best friend of Ina Souliere (Jerry). Friends are invited to attend a memorial committal service in the Greenwood Cemetery Chapel on Saturday, March 29 at 9:00 a.m. with Rev. Earl Burke officiating. Memorial donations made to the Sault Area Hospital (Cancer Clinic) would be appreciated by the family.
