It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our dear Dad, Grandfather and Great Grandfather, William James Shepherd, in his 84th year, May 23, 2017. Dad went peacefully to be with his beloved wife Patricia, surrounded and comforted by his west coast family in Victoria BC, April, Daisy, Mark, Roland, Jessica, Dylan and Debb. Remembered and loved by Mike Beach,son Michael, Sue and Michael Jr, Patti, Gay, William, Elizabeth and Henry. Dad spent the last 4 years of his life experiencing the west coast and taking great joy in his fur babies. Roland spent many loving hours reading,singing and telling funny jokes with his Great Grampa. Dad fought a long hard fight and was always thankful for the care from the South Ward staff at Saanich Peninsula Hospital and the unconditional love and compassion given by his daughters April and Daisy to fulfill his wishes on his final journey.
