At the Sault Area Hospital on Friday, September 30, 2022 at the age of 85.

Beloved wife of the late Peter Emilio Scarfone. Loving mother of Lou-Anne Train (Steve), Maria Tremblay (Richard), Peter Scarfone (Jane) and Toni Terrill (Duane). Proud Gramma and Nana of Sylvan Tremblay (Amanda), Kaitlyn Huber (Scott), Jenna Maas (Harrison), Liam Train (Alison), Jessica Oja (Justin), Sarah Scarfone, Lindsay and Ryan Terrill. Great Grandmother of Gabriel, Mason, Everett Tremblay, Jordyn Oja and Maverick Huber. Beloved daughter of the late Edward and Irene Demour. Dear sister of Russell Demour (Nancy), and predeceased by Lois Kelly, Ronald Demour (late Betty), Joanne Carlson, Jeannette Jackson (Mike) and Maureen Sirie (late Frank). Daughter-in-law of the late Tony and Antoinette Scarfone. Sister-in-law of Rosemarie Toppazzini (late Jerry) and predeceased by Carmine Scarfone (late Joyce) and Eugene Scarfone (late Dora). Linda will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and by many dear relatives and friends.

Affectionately known as G-MA to all her grandchildren. She was most comfortable with all things surrounding the Scarfone family compound. She loved tending to and planting her flowers, feeding the birds, or driving around in the golf cart with her dog Mila, and her great grandchildren. G-MA was a fantastic cook and entertained family every Sunday for many years. She could be found reading or doing crossword puzzles in her favorite chair. If the TV was on, she was watching old movies such as "Gone With the Wind", and reminiscing times gone by. If you couldn't remember a movie title or names of actors, we all called on G-MA as she had a vast knowledge for Hollywood's past. In the last several years, Fridays became a card night after a batch of wings or an afternoon of card games such as Skip-Bo or Golf. She will have to continue her winning streak with her dearly missed husband, Peter. Mom, we miss you already.

A private memorial service was held at the Arthur Funeral Home – Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington Street E. 705-759-2522) on Thursday, October 6, 2022 at 10 am. Mrs. Helen Smith officiated. Memorial contributions (payable online or by cheque) to ARCH would be appreciated. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.arthurfuneralhome.com for the Scarfone family.
