Passed away peacefully at Millcreek Care Centre in Barrie ON, on Wednesday November 22, 2017 at the age of 92. Beloved wife of the late AJ “Howdy” Sarlo. Cherished Mother of Don Sarlo of Barrie ON and Sharon Lewis of Barrie ON. Proud Grandma of John Lewis of Amsterdam The Netherlands. Predeceased by her parents Ray and May Smith. Sister of the late Clifford Smith (late Janet), May Thornton (late Don) of Falconbridge ON, and the late Joan Langstaff (late Ben). Will be missed by Mae Filipowicz (late John), Bob Filipowicz, and many other nieces, nephews and friends. Friends are invited to visit at the Arthur Funeral Home – Barton and Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington St. E. 705-759-2522) on Friday February 2, 2018 between 7 pm and 9 pm. Funeral service to take place in the Chapel on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at 10 am. Mr. Andrew Sarlo officiating. Interment to follow at Greenwood Cemetery.
