It is with heavy hearts we announce Wayne’s sudden passing at home on Sunday, January 8, 2017 at the age of 69. Best friend, husband and soul mate of Judy. Loving father of Sean (Vanessa). Proud and cherished Grandpa of Joshua and Jenna who were his everything. Caring brother to Gayle who saw Wayne as her hero and “adopted” brother of the late Beth Lozon. Devoted son of Betty (late Hartley) and son-in-law of Reva Ovens. Brother-in-law of Jane Ovens and Gary Ovens (Frieda). He will be fondly remembered and missed by his many cousins, friends, neighbours and colleagues. Wayne touched many lives with his gentle, caring spirit and felt blessed to have so many people touch his own life. Friends may visit at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Friday, January 13, 2017 from 6 until 8 pm. Funeral service in the chapel on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at 2 pm. Claranne McFarling officiating. Cremation to follow. Memorial contributions to the Heart & Stroke Foundation – Big Bike, SAH Foundation or ARCH would be appreciated by the family.
