Slipped away on Monday, November 6, 2017 at the age of 95 at the FJ Davey Home. His deceased wife Elizabeth (Betty) came to bring him to heaven to be with her. Beloved father of Betty Lou Parr (John), David (Cathy) and the late Leslie Ann Pettalia. Grandfather/Papa of Christina Pettalia (John) and Emma Running. Great grandfather of Jordie Pettalia (Anna) and Ryan Brady. Great great grandfather of Alice Pettalia. Predeceased by his siblings Robert, John, Ervil, Jim, George (Cap), Mary, Helen and Verna. Survived by many nieces and nephews. In respecting Leslie’s wishes, there will be no funeral services. A graveside service will be held in the spring. Memorial contributions to the Sault Ste. Marie Humane Society would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to the Arthur Funeral Home – Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington Street E, 705-759-2522).
