Passed away after a brief illness at the Sault Area Hospital on Monday, December 10, 2018 at the age of 72. Predeceased by his parents Stella and Bertram Redmond. Bill will be fondly remembered as a kind and funny man by his family and friends.

I'd like the memory of me
to be a happy one.
I'd like to leave an afterglow
of smiles when life is done.
I'd like to leave an echo
whispering softly down the ways,
of happy times and laughing times,
and bright and sunny days.
I'd like the tears of those who grieve,
to dry before the sun,
with all of the happy memories
that I leave when my life is done.
Following Bill's wishes, there will be no visitation and service, cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made to Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Alzheimer's Society would be appreciated by the family.
