Great Grandma to Maddi, Mitchell, Declan, Jordynn, Maia, Liam, Seanna, Morgan, Zachary, Ella, Peyton and Kynzlee. Predeceased by her parents Charles and Sarah Schell and in-laws William H. and Gladys E. Randell. Loving sister to the late Eileen and late Wallace Little, late Mark and late Edna Schell, late Grenville and late Helen Schell, late Denise and late Mark Scheffee, Les (Ruth), late Bill (Marlene), Dick (Carol Anne) and the late Anne Schell. She will be fondly missed by many, many nieces and nephews and remembered forever by her best friends & neighbours, Agnes Brooks (late Jim) and Levina Howard (late Bob). Verley moved to Searchmont in 1960. She was a proud volunteer with the community centre, Cub Scouts and Anglican Church. ‘Mrs. Randell’ to the children, she delighted in her part-time position as noon hour aide at the Searchmont Public School until it’s closure and worked with joy cooking homemade meals at Agnes’ Place. She loved God, her family, ‘real’ country music, hummingbirds, and the colour red. Friends are invited to visit at the Arthur Funeral Home – Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington St. E, 705-759-2522) on Thursday, October 25, 2018 from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm. Funeral service to follow in the chapel at 1 pm with Mrs. Helen Smith officiating. In Verlie’s memory, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Searchmont Community Volunteer Fire Department or the charity of your choice.
