Ralph J. Rancourt (Trapper) passed away at the Sault Area Hospital (General) on Saturday April 26, 2003 after a lengthy illness, in his 78th year. Beloved husband of the late Mary and Violet Rancourt and father of Brian Rancourt (Marilyn) and stepfather of Marlene Wood (Leslie) and Gary Sanko. Grandfather of Lanie Kennedy, Adrian and Chris Rancourt. Brother of Gerald Rancourt (Eila). Jackie Coventry (Ronald), and the late John (Adeline), and Joseph (Phyllis) Rancourt, Josephine Roysden (Chuck) and Marie Simons (Bob). He is also survived by many nieces and Nephews. At Ralph's request a private funeral service took place this afternoon at O'Sullivan Donnelly Funeral Home (759-8456) followed by cremation at Greenwood Cemetery. Donations to the Community Cancer Clinic would be appreciated. The family would like to express their gratitude to Doctors Walde, Mohamed, Berg, Beck and Clark and the staff at the General Hospital and Tendercare Nursing Home for the care and compassion shown to Ralph during his long illness.
