Passed away peacefully after a long illness, on Friday, August 20, 2004 at the Plummer Memorial Hospital. Loving husband of Irma for 55 years. Beloved father of Jorma (Roxanne) of Sudbury, Maire Muncaster (Douglas) of Alberta and the late Kari. Cherished Faari of Satu, David, Krista, Ariana and Katrina. Great grandfather of Uriah. John leaves behind many friends and relatives in Canada and Finland. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home and Cremation Centre on Monday, August 23, 2004 from 10 am until time of funeral service in the chapel at 11 am. Rev. J. Krister Ulmanis officiating.
