After a long and courageous, hard fought battle with cancer at the Plummer Memorial Hospital on Thursday, October 16, 2003; Audrey Pregent at the age of 66 years has gone to meet her Creator. Loving wife and best friend for 47 years to Rene Pregent. Dear mother of Colette Pregent (Bruce), Nicole Oliver (Blaine), Jean-Rene (Arlene) and Liette Pregent (Chris). Grandmother of Shawn, Troy, Nicholas, Danielle, Michael, Bradley, Zachary, Joline, Nathan and Jordan. Daughter of the late Vera and Wilfred Powless. Sister of Ronald Powless (Doris) Larry Powless (Theresa) and the late Wilfred Powless. Daughter-in-law of the late Arthur and Yvonne Pregent. Sister-in-law of Alice Chipelsky (late Mike), Jeannette Vanier (Sam), Florian Pregent (Jeannine), Robert Pregent (Blanche) and the late Simone Hannah (Keith). Friends may call at the Northwood Funeral Home (942 Great Northern Road 945-7758) on Sunday evening from 7 to 9 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, October 20, 2003 at Paroisse Sainte Marie du Sault at 11:00 am with Reverend Joseph Niesyto officiating. Memorial donations made to the Sault Area Hospital (Cancer Clinic or Palliative Care) would be appreciated by the family.
