Lionel Joseph "Joe" Pomber passed away suddenly at the General Hospital on Friday, August 16, 2002, at the age of 77. Predeceased by his beloved wife, June. He is survived by his son, William and the late Lawrence (wife Megan) and his precious grandchildren Andrew, Katy and Benjamin. Joe is survived by his sisters Freda Roberts (Emile) and May Ouellette (Don). Predeceased by his sisters Lillian Stares (Sid), Lucille Gernon (Ted) and brothers Harry (Violet), Willard (wife Lucy), Ben (Coba) and baby Robert. Survived by sister-in-law Lorraine Hoffman (Cliff) and brother-in-law Russell King (Diana) and by numerous nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & cremation Centre on Monday, August 19 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated from St. Jerome's Church on Tuesday, August 20 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev.
