Donna Polnick passed away peacefully, after a long and courageous battle at the Plummer Memorial Hospital on Saturday May 31, 2003 at the age of 53 years. Loving mother of Billy (Mary), Brian (Melissa), Johnny (Stephanie) and Jimmy. Adored gramma of Gregory and Zachary. Donna will be remembered by her children's father, Bill. Cherished daughter of Ann and the late Walter Lingenfelter. Dear sister of Barry Lingenfelter (Jackie), Beverley Mandryk (Wayne), John Lingenfelter (Elizabeth), and Walter Lingenfelter (Susan). Donna will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, cousins and by the Polnick family. Friends may call at the Northwood Funeral Home (942 Great Northern Road 945-7758) on Thursday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The Funeral service will be held in the Chapel on Friday June 6 at 1:00 pm. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Memorial donations made to the Sault Area Hospitals Cancer Clinic would be appreciated by the family. Donna's sons wish to send a special thank you to Barb Krmpotich, John Lingenfelter and Bev Mandryk for their endless support and devotion to their mom. Also, an extra special thank you to Dr. D. Walde and the Palliative Care nurses for their enormous amount of support and compassion shown to Donna and her family.
