Passed away peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital surrounded by his family, on Thursday January 11, 2018 at the age of 86. Nicola was born in Curinga Cantanzaro, Italy. He was predeceased by his parents Sebestiano Piraino and Anna Desando. Beloved husband of the late Rosa. Loved father of Anna Novello (Pat), Sam Piraino (Nancy) and Rick Piraino (Melissa). Adored Nonno of Melissa Staal (Ian), Stephen Novello (Paige), Brandon Piraino (Melissa), Kristian Piraino and Nicholas and Thomas Piraino. Bis Nonno to Sophie and Reid Staal. Dear brother of Peter (late Lina), late Concetta (late Nick) and Constenza (late Nick). Fondly remembered by his sisters-in-law in Italy and many nieces and nephews.
