Carmen Periard passed away peacefully, at the General Hospital on Sunday, May 18, 2003 at the age of 75 years. She recently realized her request of spending her final days in the comfort of her own home. Beloved wife of the late Conrad Periard. Dear mother of Bonnie Lacasse (late Camille), Lynda Lamothe (Fred), Danielle Goodship (Bill), Kathy Periard (Terry) and Michelle Periard (Harry). Grandmother of Dennis Lacasse (Teresa), Christopher Lamothe (Chantel), Trisha Lamothe (Dave), Natalie Goodship, late Shannon Lamothe, Melissa Lacasse (Dave), Michelyn Lacasse (Jay), Lindsay Goodship (Jeff), Shawn Opala, Jocelyne Goodship, Chanel Opala, Jessica Goodship, Morgan Periard, Kyrstan Lidstone and Jillian Lidstone. Great grandmother of Matthew Lacasse, Nicholas Lacasse, Olivia and Gabrielle Hopper, Noah Lamothe and Aeva Goodship. Daughter of the late Eva and John Goderre. Sister of the late John, Albert, Aurelle, Gene, Rene, Raymond, Annette, Dolly, Bea, her twin sister Constance and Theresa. Friends may call at the Northwood Funeral Home (942 Great Northern Road, 945-7758) on Wednesday, May 21 from 1:00 p.m. until time of funeral service in the chapel at 2:30 p.m. with Rev. Bernard Burns officiating. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Memorial donations made to the Sault Area Hospital (Renal Dialysis Unit or Nurses Education Fund) or to the Salvation Army would be appreciated by the family.
